PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO | WEIßENBURG, BAYERN, GERMANY | ANNETTE JOPPIEN, MARTINO PEÑA | 2016 | 20m²
A Photo Studio has been designed in a plot where there is already a house and a power transformer. The owner of the house of a little Town called Weissenburg, in Bayern, would like to have his Atelier in his backyard. The space is opened as a bellows Camera in the direction of the main room, where the photographs should be taken. The studio works as a dark room, and the light could be controlled through curtains. The room is only 20 m2 and it is divided into two parts; a stage with a brick wall where the photograph will be taken and a little laboratory where everything is prepared. The front facade is covered with wood vertical elements, where the light should not come in, and with glass where the light is allowed to come inside of the room. The entire space is conceived as an old bellows camera in the Digital Era.
